Summer Intern Series: Game Design and Animation meet Branding with Rolinda Marcelino

Hello! my name is
Rolinda Marcelino
a recent graduate of Fitchburg State University
with a Bachelors degree in Game Design, an experience which has provided me with knowledge and experience regarding 3D modeling and texturing, digital illustration, basic programing in C#, Python and Java, project/portfolio management collaboration and 2D/3D animation in addition to game design itself!
This past May I began my summer internship here at Brewster Branding
where I have been working on various animated logos for organizations such as Boston Main streets, Norwood high school, Crystals and Caffeine and the company of Brewster Branding itself. Some samples of these animations can be seen below.
In addition to this I have also collaborated with my fellow interns on taking product photos for a variety of different products as well as dynamic environment shots of various locations to be used for businesses in clarifying the area in which they operate in. Looking forward to more opportunities to make great connections and gain more insight into the world of marketing and branding for potential use in my own future company!
Animated Logos
These are some of the logos I have animated so far during my internship at Brewster Branding.
Business owners Erin Baumgartner, Sharon Brewster, and Vannessa Houlihan discussed how handled challenges faced by business owners during this panel discussion.
Catherine McNeil is the founder of CHBM Services LLC , a body of businesses & products dedicated to reducing poverty among single parent homes by providing reduced cost services to individuals and entities requiring Career Development Coaching, Events and Resources. In her Chicago-based radio show, "Let's Chat!" with ASKCat , Catherine interviews esteemed guest speaker, Sharon Brewster, Chief Branding and Creative Officer of Brewster Branding to talk about Branding and how does it affect one's career as an individual, professional or business entrepreneur. Sharon also talks about her expertise when working with clients to develop authentic and sustainable brands, and help them be responsible in creating their legacy.
The second type of logo I got the opportunity to work on is the Boston Main streets logo ! So far, the Boston Main streets logo has been the most fun to work with! I felt a lot more freedom and concepts to work with given the different parts, word spacing and the ball icon. It was a great experience getting to sit down and think up different fun ways I could work with the ball and all the letters to have a bit of personality or tell a little story as they dashed across the screen. I ended up with a total of 16 animations for the Boston Main streets logo. here are some of my favorite ones:
